Peizhe Liu
Ph.D. student in Computer Science, The University of Texas at Austin
I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, advised by Prof. Jovan Stojkovic.
My research interests center on building efficient and reliable systems for datacenters, cloud platforms, and AI infrastructure. At UT Austin, I work in the CASCADE Lab on hardware–software co-design for accelerators, improving their utilization and optimizing them for real-world workloads.
Before joining UT Austin, I received my M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I worked with Prof. Tianyin Xu and Dr. Jongyul Kim in the xLab on virtualization, memory management, file systems, and emerging storage devices. I also received my B.S. in Computer Engineering from UIUC, with earlier projects spanning operating system implementation, RISC-V processor design, and chip tapeout.
